Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Project Management, Program Management, Business Administration, Organizational Communication, or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Technical Program Management-related occupation.
- Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Project Management, Program Management, Business Administration, Organizational Communication, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Program Management-related occupation.
- Position requires 3 years of experience in the following: Program management for cloud computing infrastructure; Cross-functional stakeholder and communications management; Network capacity planning; Data Center engineering and deployment of large-scale systems; and System and process requirements definition for networking systems.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000 - $237,000 15% bonus target equity benefits determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.
Position reports to the Google Atlanta, GA office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy.
Responsibilities
- Define the scope, charter, and project plans for complex engineering programs, translating ambiguous goals into clear objectives, milestones, and resource requirements.
- Govern program execution by managing schedules, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and maintaining project trackers to ensure alignment with key objectives.
- Build trusted relationships and collaborate with senior stakeholders across multiple teams to drive impactful decisions, resolve prioritization misalignments, and manage escalations.
- Design and deliver optimized communication plans, articulately representing program status, analyses, and recommendations to diverse audiences from engineers to senior executives.
- Establish key program metrics and dashboards to monitor performance, identify deviations, and define corrective actions that support continuous improvement and data-driven decisions. Apply your engineering expertise to perform technical due diligence, develop processes that enhance engineering velocity, and guide technical trade-off discussions.
