Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience managing engineering-based risk operations.
- Experience managing cybersecurity programs as a technical program manager.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in cyber, risk management, or system implementation at a major technology/consulting company.
- 10 years of project management experience developing, managing and implementing cyber risk management strategies in a consulting or in-house setting
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience applying AI/ML tools and methodologies to enhance program management practices (e.g., automating reporting, risk analysis, process optimization).
- Ability to partner effectively with cross-functional teams and influence others without direct authority.

You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $163000 - $237000 (USD) 15% bonus target equity benefits

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of Cyber Risk Assessment strategy for Global Affairs (GA).
- Design and own risk remediation programs.
- Influence and assist business owners to close gaps in their cyber risk assessments controls and drive process adoption for sustainable security posture.
- Collaborate with and influence central Google security, risk and audit teams to ensure GA's operational and security requirements are met and Cyber Risk Management practices are up to company-wide standards.
- Pivot between setting program execution, technical control implementations and risk operations.
