Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management.
- Experience with data center network infrastructure
- Experience with Risk Management
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with fiber network deployments, including constructing new outside and inside plant fiber infrastructure.
- Experience with delivery of telecommunications fiber, space/power, or capacity infrastructure.
- Experience with long haul fiber.

This team is responsible for the system level design and deployment of the global fiber optic network that connects Google's data centers to the world. This network allows Google to function as a global computer, ensuring continuous flow of data to and from all corners of the planet.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage projects of various size and scope, identifying future opportunities, improving processes and driving the technical directions of your programs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of global network infrastructure programs, including long-haul fiber, metro networks, and leased capacity, ensuring milestones are met from concept through deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partner teams to understand technical dependencies, resolve constraints, and align capacity forecasting with infrastructure deployment timelines.
- Identify, mitigate, and communicate project risks and technical trade-offs clearly to both engineering teams and leadership stakeholders.
- Translate complex, ambiguous strategic initiatives into well-defined technical requirements, actionable roadmaps, and clear execution plans.
- Drive process improvements and scalability enhancements within network deployment workflows to optimize efficiency and accelerate capacity delivery.
