Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in quota-carrying cloud or software sales, business development, or consultative account management at a B2B software company.
• Experience engaging and building relationships with a wide range of internal teams and customer stakeholders.
• Experience managing commercial negotiations and agreements.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience leading large, matrixed teams in the pursuit of complex opportunities.
• Experience working with executive leaders within Federal Transportation, Logistics, and Citizen Services agencies, specifically the Department of Transportation, FAA, US Postal Service, and USDA.
• Understanding of the federal civilian procurement process, including budget cycles and various agreement vehicles.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical executives.
• Track record of shaping and winning multi-year government programs and agreements with a total value exceeding $50M.

About the jobAs a Strategic Pursuits Manager focused on US Federal Transportation, Logistics, and Citizen Services agencies such as: Department of Transportation, FAA, US Postal Service, USDA, Department of Labor, and GSA, you will be an executive leader on the sales team. You will be responsible for shaping the largest, most complex, and most strategic multi-year programs. This is not a standard sales role; you will operate at the intersection of strategy, sales, and government relations, influencing customer requirements and acquisition strategies long before an Request for Proposal (RFP) is released. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,000-$172,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Influence US Federal Transportation, Logistics, and Citizen Services Agency requirements and acquisition strategies early to position Google for large-scale, strategic program success.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with Federal Transportation, Logistics, and Citizen Services officials and Systems Integrators to deliver comprehensive, mission-critical solutions.
• Conduct engaged analysis to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that effectively position Google's offerings within the Transportation, Logistics, and Citizen Services sectors.
• Drive significant business and on-agreement growth within existing accounts by collaborating with sales teams to accelerate high-value agreement closures.
• Lead cross-functional proposal development and provide thought leadership at industry events to showcase Google's transportation, logistics, and citizen services expertise.
