Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
- 8 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C , Python).
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.
- Experience working with Machine Learning and Generative AI applications, applied ML techniques, or using OSS frameworks.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 6 years of experience with architectural components and system design.
- Experience building ML solutions, leveraging specific architectures (e.g., LSTM, convolutional networks).
- Experience launching and scaling user-facing, production quality partner integrations.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, scope complex projects, manage multiple projects simultaneously and solve challenging technical problems independently.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical topics to both engineers and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will implement deep machine learning expertise, building fast prototypes and scalable solutions. You will serve as the primary technical expert, responsible for designing and delivering scalable AI solutions and tools for 3P data acquisition and other areas directly contributing to building the best GenAI models in the industry. You will possess a strong understanding of AI, coupled with a proven ability to develop and iterate on prototypes. Your core responsibility will be collaborating directly with our Good Deepmind Engineering teams to enhance our products and services. A key focus area will be pioneering new methodologies for measuring the performance, quality, and safety of Generative AI models.Google creates products and services that make the world a better place, and gTech's role is to help bring them to life. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$265,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Build high-value use cases, rapid prototypes, and troubleshoot technical issues related to model performance, Third Party (3P) data acquisition and infrastructure, leveraging the latest Gemini Model capabilities.
- Contribute directly to the evolution of Gemini Models by shaping future capabilities and defining the roadmap for developer tools.
- Partner with DeepMind Engineering and Product Management teams to prioritize and deliver solutions that measurably impact Generative AI (Gen AI) model quality and performance across Google's product offerings.
- Explore, create, and assess novel methodologies for accurately measuring and evaluating the performance of Generative AI models.
- Be proactive and stay current on industry trends, the latest machine learning research, tools, and advanced techniques.
