About the job
Google Workspace's products include apps like NotebookLM, the Gemini App, Gmail, Google Meet, Google Drive, Documents, Sheets, Slides, and more that billions of users and 11 million customers choose every day. Google Workspace is designed for consumers, teams, and organizations, transforming how people work with the integration of AI.
In this role, you will sit within the Integrated Marketing organization, which drives sustainable growth by creating connected, customer-first experiences. As part of the Awareness & Consideration team, you will focus on shifting awareness and perception while ensuring consistency in how the Google Workspace brand shows up across channels.
As the Social Media Manager for Google Workspace, you will drive the day-to-day execution of our global social media strategy across channels such as LinkedIn, TikTok, and Social Media Platform. Operating as a key individual contributor, you will bridge the gap between B2B enterprise marketing and consumer-facing brand love, helping to position Google Workspace as the leader in AI for work.
Additionally, you will collaborate with Product Marketing, Brand, Creative, and Regional teams to transform product messaging into "channel-first" creative assets. You will manage the editorial calendar, oversee community engagement, and leverage social listening to surface business-relevant insights. You will model AI-first execution by utilizing Google's tools to accelerate content creation and campaign workflows, while activating paid and earned influencers to amplify priority moments. You will work with minimal assistance to manage medium-to-large scale campaigns, ensuring our social voice is human, helpful, and innovative.Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
