Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 10 years of experience in program management.
  
• 7 years of experience in leadership roles with/without direct reports.

Preferred qualifications:

• 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
  
• 10 years of experience managing executive-level relationships and cross-functional projects in a large organization.
• 2 years of experience as a tech lead or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
• Ability to understand complex relationship between the organization and its environment, identify connections, adopt different perspectives and quickly respond to changing circumstances in a strategic way.
• Ability to work well across product areas, with excellent negotiation skills and deliver on joint objectives and key results.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will manage a group of Technical Program Managers working across various SRE teams (Gmail, Gmail Delivery, Chat, Calendar, Drive, Editors, Meet). You should be passionate about solving reliability, efficiency and scalability challenges and grow on implementing technical solutions and strategies to the problems and challenges present for you and your team.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $240,000-$334,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Be a thought leader within Google and industry on the subject matter domain of the respective organization.
  
• Establish a reliable and visible cadence for portfolio reviews, decision making, prioritization, and resource management (e.g., effective redeployment of machine and people resources), leading to efficiency and utilization gains (mapping to the concept of Resource Stewardship).
  
• Drive measurable program performance gains correlated to execution velocity. Establish governance over prioritization decisions to ensure alignment with key performance indicators.
  
• Be a change advocate responsible for initiating and leading multiple organizations through pivots needed to address shifts in business trends and priorities.
  
• Lead strategic planning framework for a complex program portfolio including direct influence over resourcing decisions, planning cadence, and planning stakeholders.
