Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in product design or user experience (UX) with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) for consumer products.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 15 years of experience in product design or user experience (UX) with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) for consumer products.
• Experience with 0-1 products or features, designing across multiple platforms and modalities.
• Experience designing (auto-layout, variables, component libraries) and prototyping (creating animated prototypes, leveraging videos and GIFs to simulate reality) in Figma.
• Experience leveraging new tools for vibe coding in day-to-day processes, with previous coding experience.

As a Staff User Experience Designer on the team, you will focus on setting the goal for Artificial Intelligence Mode and getting in the weeds with product and engineering to ensure we're shipping the best product possible.

You will work on model-driven user interaction and layout in our Artificial Intelligence Mode responses, help define the overall product architecture, and define innovative features based on new model capabilities. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $237,000-$329,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on new product ideas and opportunities within artificial intelligence (AI) Mode in partnership with user researchers and user experience (UX) engineers.
• Manage the experience of shipping features in AI Mode.
• Influence executive leaders and cross-functional partners to build frontier experiences.
• Take problems and create clarity through design and prototyping.
