Responsibilities
- Design and implement both low-level firmware for custom hardware (compute, accelerators, infrastructure) and system-level controller software for runtime resource management.
- Develop low-level hardware interfaces (memory-mapped registers, interrupts, DMA, shared memory) and build reliable software services and middleware to bridge high-level applications with foundational platform elements using standard communication protocols.
- Build and optimize services for real-time system tracking, health diagnostics, watchdogs, and performance telemetry across both firmware and controller levels.
- Develop automated logic and maintain features for error handling, fault tolerance, reset and recovery processes, and firmware updates to ensure high-availability across the stack.
- Collaborate with hardware, validation, and system software teams to define host-firmware-hardware interfaces, support bring-up and debugging, maintain clear internal API documentation, and drive architecture and design reviews.
