What You'll Do
- Lead the functional implementation of an out-of-the-box reinsurance administration application, aligning business needs with standard product capabilities.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, project leadership, and the implementation team for all functional design and delivery matters.
- Drive requirements elicitation, process analysis, and fit-gap assessments across core reinsurance functions, including treaty and facultative administration, claims, technical accounting, cash/accounting, reporting, and close processes.
- Define target business processes, operating procedures, and functional requirements with a strong focus on adopting standard application functionality and minimizing customization.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, configuration guidance, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria for product, development, and QA teams.
- Lead functional workshops, solution walkthroughs, and decision-making sessions with client stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Partner with technical teams on integration, data conversion, and reporting requirements to ensure end-to-end solution alignment.
- Support application configuration, reference data setup, and validation of business rules in collaboration with product and technical teams.
- Oversee functional testing activities, including test scenario design, system integration testing support, user acceptance testing, defect triage, and business sign-off.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to other business analysts, ensuring quality and consistency across functional deliverables.
- Manage scope, traceability, and change impacts across requirements, design decisions, and implementation deliverables.
- Support client readiness through training, documentation, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
- Stay current on reinsurance market practices, regulatory considerations, and packaged solution capabilities to guide implementation decisions.

- Strong experience in requirements management, fit-gap analysis, process design, functional specifications, and business stakeholder facilitation
- Proven ability to guide clients toward standard product adoption while balancing business priorities, controls, and delivery timelines
