Description
Job DescriptionPassionate about Business Operations, AI, and scalable execution? Join our Team at OCI in our brand-new, state-of-the-art headquarters in Nashville.
OCI Business Operations is looking for a data-fluent and execution-oriented Senior Manager, AI-Scaled Operations to help accelerate AI adoption across Business Operations. In this role, you will lead the translation of high-impact manual processes into trusted, repeatable AI-assisted operating workflows.
You are the builder here. You will help define how Business Operations uses AI responsibly and practically: structuring intake, prioritizing high-value opportunities, validating outputs, documenting repeatable methods, enabling users, and creating reusable patterns that allow teams to scale without regressing back to legacy manual processes.
The Senior Manager will provide operational leadership across AI-enabled workflow delivery, stakeholder enablement, and process transformation. This leader will partner closely with Business Operations, Finance, Program Management, AI-first teams, IT, and platform partners to ensure AI use cases are business-owned, validated, repeatable, and adopted.
Responsibilities
AI-Scaled Operations: Lead the operationalization of AI-enabled workflows across Business Operations, helping stakeholders move from manual processes and early prototypes to validated, repeatable, business-owned workflows.
Workflow Delivery: Manage intake, scoping, mapping, build support, validation, documentation, and handoff for priority AI workflow initiatives, initially focusing on a small number of high-impact efforts to ensure quality and measurable outcomes.
Strategic Prioritization: Evaluate AI workflow requests based on business impact, feasibility, stakeholder readiness, repeatability, validation path, and adoption likelihood. Help determine which requests to pursue, defer, or decline.
Reusable Patterns: Create and maintain reusable prompts, workflow playbooks, validation checklists, intake examples, templates, and approved AI skill patterns for Business Operations use cases.
Enablement and Adoption: Support business users through practical guidance, training, office hours, troubleshooting, and examples that build confidence and help teams independently rerun AI-assisted workflows.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with AI-first teams, IT, enterprise support, Finance, Business Operations, and platform partners to escalate blockers, identify tooling gaps, and surface opportunities for reusable AI capabilities.
Team Leadership: Mentor and manage AI Ops resources, aligning ownership areas to business priorities while protecting workflow delivery capacity from becoming general-purpose AI help desk support.
Operational Metrics: Define and track success measures such as enabled workflow count, independent rerun rate, blocker resolution rate, reusable pattern yield, stakeholder confidence, efficiency improvement, cycle-time reduction, and quality improvement.
Business Operations Expertise: Has strong experience in business operations, finance, program management, analytics, or process transformation, with the ability to understand complex operational workflows and translate them into structured execution plans.
AI Tooling Fluency: Demonstrates hands-on fluency using AI tools, prompts, skills, scripts, templates, structured files, and lightweight automation to improve business workflows.
Strong Business Judgment: Applies financial and operational reasonableness checks, understands source-of-truth controls, and knows when human review, reconciliation, or escalation is required.
Builder Mindset: Thrives in ambiguity and can stand up a new operating model, including intake, prioritization, delivery standards, documentation, metrics, enablement, and governance boundaries.
Data Skills: Has strong Excel, file-based analysis, reporting, and analytical problem-solving skills, with comfort working across structured and semi-structured data.
Project Management: Defines and executes projects that balance value, effort, risk, and time to delivery, with the foresight to anticipate blockers and create practical mitigation plans.
Collaborative: Dives deep into problems while working effectively with diverse teams across Business Operations, Finance, IT, AI-first teams, enterprise support, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
People Leadership: Coaches, mentors, and develops team members while creating clarity around ownership, standards, and delivery expectations.
Communication: Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document workflows clearly and tailor messages for business users, technical partners, and senior leaders.
Adaptability: Combines structured process discipline with practical experimentation, applying the right level of rigor based on workflow risk, complexity, and business impact.
