Description

About the job
Google's Global Product Solutions organization leads Google's commercial business strategy for Google Ads, Google Marketing Platform, and select organic surfaces, and is responsible for driving adoption of our advertising products. This specific role is responsible for architecting and designing a standardized, global "value delivered" methodology and sales motion/workflow across LCS and GCS. The primary goal is to shift customer conversations from technical ad-focused metrics (e.g., ROI, ROAS, CPA) to business-focused KPIs such as revenue, new signups, and units sold.
You'll work closely with regional go-to-market and sales teams globally to commercialize and drive successful adoption of the value delivered framework.
In parallel, this role will support the Measurement GPS Leadership team manage our funding and incentive strategy with regards to third party measurement, identifying the needed resources to ensure third-party sources of truth can also support our sales teams convey Google's "value delivered".
This role will span development and roll out of a global value delivered framework and industry change management around media valuation techniques (e.g., pivoting from last-click attribution to full funnel attribution and observed causality) as well as, management of Google's third-party measurement partner portfolio of offerings across the different Measurement disciplines managed by the team (i.e., MMM, MTA, incrementality, reach). You will maintain a global POV through close collaboration with regional partners, balanced with key considerations from product and engineering partners.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $186,000-$270,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Architect a global framework for calculating "value delivered" across different LCS client segments. This includes defining standardized metrics, calculation methods, and data requirements. Develop a "common language" that translates historical Google Ads performance into the specific business metrics and language of the customer.
- Design and embed "value delivered" workflows into the "Google Way of selling". This includes creating standardized templates, narratives, and a consistent cadence for these conversations in joint business plans (JBPs) and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
- Define and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the adoption and success of "value delivered" conversations across all regions.
- Manage and update Google's third-party measurement partner portfolio of offerings across the different Measurement disciplines managed by the team (i.e., MMM, MTA, Incrementality, Reach).
