Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or development management.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or development management.
- Experience developing and integrating electrical and mechanical hardware with power/cooling/networking infrastructure.
- Experience in working with contract manufacturing partners.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
- Build, optimize and integrate platforms for Google data center hardware (server, storage, switch, rack or accelerator) at the global manufacturing partners.
- Partner with the NPI team to define design for manufacturing (DFM) requirements and provide input to Manufacturing Strategy.
- Analyze, troubleshoot and root cause of manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes. Drive issues to closure with corrective and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with internal engineers and manufacturing partner engineers to drive improvement for product manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness including test coverage and reduce cost.
- Drive, support and manage product changes to improve product design or manufacturing performance.
