About the job
The Global Industry Marketing Team seeks an execution-focused Industry Marketing professional with experience in marketing strategy, content strategy, thought leadership, stakeholder management, and operational excellence. This is a contract role with a six-month duration.
As an Industry Marketing Contractor, you will:
- Develop and execute compelling messaging, value propositions, and thought leadership content aligned to the Public Sector and Health Care & Life Sciences industry and solutions priorities.
- Support strategic marketing initiatives for key solutions and industry programs, partnering across product marketing, sales, and marketing teams.
- Plan and execute webinars, community events, podcast programs, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Assess customer journey content, identify gaps, and drive content creation and optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain strategic marketing plans, content roadmaps, and business priorities.
- Champion content reuse, AI adoption, automation, and process improvements to increase marketing efficiency and impact.
- Manage ad hoc marketing requests and projects while ensuring alignment with high-priority business objectives.
- Measure program effectiveness and use insights to continuously improve marketing outcomes.
- Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.
- Coordinate, manage, and maintain the ongoing thought leadership plan aligned to our business units.
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of Sales & Marketing "Connect" calls, including agenda development, speaker alignment, and session flow

Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Typically requires five years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Consulting or related function in the technology industry, preferably in product marketing (experience in a specific domain {industry, technology, or solution} directly related to the area of assignment may be used to satisfy this requirement).
- Experience building content strategies aligned to sales stages and the buyer's journey.
- Proven ability to use analytics and insights to guide content decisions and measure impact.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

- Communication - Conveying information and ideas clearly and concisely to individuals or groups in an engaging manner that helps them understand and retain the message; listening actively to others
- Ability to articulate/translate product and service capabilities into the customer issue context.
- Ability to identify key target audiences and, from them, create necessary personas who influence the buying decision.
- Ability to map product/portfolio and customer business pains into product marketing plans.
- Strong writing skills, including the ability to translate technical information into simple, audience-appropriate language.
