Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.
- Experience executing full-cycle FP&A functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience automating and optimizing financial processes using a combination of technical, analytical and AI skills.
- Experience utilizing SQL to extract and manipulate complex data sets for financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience in core FP&A responsibilities, forecast, close, financial reporting.
- Experience with internal financial access tools.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels, and to agreements with ambiguity and grow in a rapidly changing environment.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
- Drive cross-functional initiatives by partnering with stakeholders to architect and execute high-impact finance optimization projects, with a primary focus on establishing a Single Source of Truth (SSOT) for mission-critical Cloud cost and margin reporting.
- Leverage AI and advanced SQL to interrogate financial datasets, pioneering automated data reconciliation and engineering sophisticated access models that empower Finance leadership with real-time, actionable insights.
- Act as a Lead Data Steward within the Cloud Finance organization, defining the standards for data integrity and governing secure, streamlined access to the next generation of Finance-owned assets and integrations.
- Influence executive decision-making by distilling complex technical optimization metrics into compelling narratives and reports for Google's executive leadership team.
