About the job
A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
In this role, you will be responsible for tracking, reporting, and mitigating risks associated with the delivery of mission-critical power generation and power infrastructure assets that will power Google's data centers. You will track and report on project schedules and variances, taking all necessary steps including contract negotiations and amendments to ensure the delivery of critical infrastructure is as on-time and on-budget as possible. You will intake projects from the commercial structuring team and track them through to successful delivery. Overseeing a set of data centers within a region, you will manage consultants as necessary while working closely with internal partner teams ranging from engineering and supply chain to real estate, construction, finance, and legal.
