Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in one of these areas: finance, pricing and the structuring of agreements, managing operational processes, discount structures, rebate programs, or direct sales experience.
- 10 years of leadership experience across general management, sales operations, commercial roles, consulting, or corporate strategy including working and influencing senior-level executives.
- Experience leading operational and strategic Initiatives.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA degree or graduate degree.
- Experience in digital media or marketing organizations running large-scale, international rebate structures.
- Ability to operate as a non-abrasive leader who can bring order to ambiguous or intricate environments without creating friction.
- A systems thinker with a long-term outlook and the ability to maintain operational pragmatism while building for the future.
- Passion for YouTube monetization and a belief in its untapped growth potential.
About the job
As Director, you will report directly into the Vice President, YouTube Ads Go-to-Market (GTM). The team is dedicated to sophisticated agreement and incentives management for advertisers, agencies, and third-party partners. You will lead the charge in unlocking the business generation potential of the advertising ecosystem at attractive returns for Google.
In this role, you will bring structure and scale to a high-growth environment, overseeing established and new programs and agreements, as well as pioneering and enhancing our strategies. You will balance high-stakes discussions with scalability.

We're made up of multiple teams, building Google's Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $278,000-$387,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Cultivate a rigorous fiduciary mindset across the organization to ensure all incentive programs achieve return on investment (ROI). Take direct accountability for the sophisticated structuring and pricing of agreements.
- Lead agreement management as a scalable global infrastructure. Partner closely with internal tooling teams to automate and scale programs, ensuring the organization can manage increased complexity without manual friction.
- Maintain a competitive edge by evaluating and benchmarking YouTube's discount and rebate structures against key competitors.
- Help develop and activate cross-functional strategies, including annual and quarterly plans, ensuring all business objectives are achieved through flawless execution and enablement.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Evaluate team design to maintain an efficient span of control to ensure organizational health and agility.
