Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience leading customer engineering teams in a technical, customer-facing environment.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with AI and cloud infrastructure concepts or technology (e.g., virtual machines, containerization, networking, compute, storage, security), including developing go-to-market strategies for infrastructure solutions.
• Experience in the Startups ecosystem as an advisor, investor, or mentor.

Preferred qualifications:

• Customer engagement experience with experience growing the business/product.
• Experience in distributed systems, such as AI/ML or data platforms.
• Experience in cloud secruity, infrastructure modernization, or networking.
• Technical depth and experience in cloud computing.
  
• Excellent thought leadership and success building trust-based advisory relationships at the C-level of organizations. Ability to influence unique, senior stakeholders without authority.
  
• Excellent business acumen, thought leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive business implications and actions from data specifically in the start-up community.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $230,000-$320,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Manage, inspire, and grow a team of Customer Engineering Managers and Individual Contributors dedicated to supporting the Acquisition Segment of the North America Startups organization.
• Partner with sales leadership to define strategies, identify new workload opportunities, and set staffing/coverage plans to achieve business generation and bookings goals.
• Oversee the technical engagement, from discovery to proof-of-concept and deployment, ensuring successful cloud migrations and cloud AI solutions and solving complex technical blockers for customers.
• Engage and present to technical stakeholders and executive leaders to accelerate value.
• Be responsible for driving the technical strategy, adoption, and revenue growth of Google Cloud products through a team of managers and engineers. Act as a critical bridge between customer needs, sales goals, and product engineering teams.
