Be an integral part of the ongoing transformation to AI-enabled cloud platforms by identifying, progressing, and closing strategic opportunities within marquee Energy, O&G, Utilities, and Engineering Services accounts.
What You'll Do
- Develop a deep understanding of the Energy, Oil & Gas, Utilities, and Engineering Services industries, including operational, regulatory, sustainability, and digital transformation drivers.
- Drive Oracle AI Data Platform adoption and multicloud growth strategies across assigned enterprise accounts.
- Help customers develop data strategies that enable AI execution, operational intelligence, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
- Position Oracle as a trusted advisor for data convergence, consolidation, governance, and standardization initiatives.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key executives, technology leaders, engineering organizations, and operational stakeholders.
- Establish strong executive engagement with CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, CDOs, Operations leaders, and engineering leadership teams.
- Develop robust pipeline generation strategies and customer-centric account plans that align to industry priorities and Oracle growth initiatives.
- Lead sophisticated enterprise sales cycles focused on cloud modernization, AI data platforms, analytics, security, database, and multicloud solutions.
- Collaborate across Oracle ecosystems-including Solution Engineering, Product Management, Consulting, Alliances, and Industry Business Units-to deliver differentiated customer outcomes.
- Drive awareness and pipeline growth for Oracle AI Data Platform offerings, including OCI, Autonomous Database, Analytics, Security, Integration, and engineered systems.
- Accelerate multicloud opportunities leveraging Oracle's strategic partnerships with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Oracle Database@Azure and Oracle Database@Google Cloud.
- Identify and execute opportunities involving hybrid cloud, multicloud, and data modernization strategies across customer environments.
- Successfully prospect into assigned accounts to discover and develop net-new business opportunities and expansion motions.
- Communicate Oracle's differentiated "Why Oracle" story with confidence, clarity, and executive presence.
- Travel as required; this role may operate in a virtual environment.
Required Skills & Experience
What You'll Bring
- Experience selling enterprise cloud, AI Data Platform, database, analytics, infrastructure, or multicloud solutions into Energy, Oil & Gas, Utilities, or Engineering Services customers.
- Strong understanding of industry trends including energy transition, operational technology (OT), predictive analytics, grid modernization, asset management, sustainability, and industrial AI.
- Demonstrated success engaging C-suite executives, engineering organizations, operations leaders, and DevOps/platform teams.
- Proven ability to drive complex enterprise sales cycles involving cloud modernization, AI, analytics, security, and multicloud architectures.
- Experience developing and growing multicloud opportunities involving OCI, Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, Database, Analytics, Security, and AI-enabled data architectures.
- Familiarity with cloud-native and open-source technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Linux, Java, APIs, and automation frameworks.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and executive storytelling abilities.
- Collaborative mindset with success operating in matrixed and team-selling environments.

Responsibilities
Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $113,100 to $185,100 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 45/55.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
