Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of industry experience in consultative sales, business development, application sales, database sales.
- Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
- Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience selling technical solutions in one or more of the following: Infrastructure Modernization, Application Modernization, Data Management, Data Analytics, Cloud AI, Networking, Migrations, Security.
- Experience managing the entire business-cycle (e.g., defining the delivery and consumption plan and transitioning it for execution).
- Experience building long-term technical strategies to uncover new workloads with customers.
- Experience working with internal/external teams, including C-level executives, account teams, technical leads, procurement, legal, and product.
- Ability to develop joint business plans in environments, influence/collaborate across organizations, and drive business success for the customer and Google.

In this role, you will partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud to customers. You will act as the primary technical partner, engaging in technical-led conversations to understand business issues. You will troubleshoot technical questions and roadblocks, engage in proofs of concepts and demos, and architect cross-pillar cloud solutions. Additionally, you will drive technical success, define delivery plans, and present practical solutions to technical and business leaders.
You will focus on identifying, pursuing, and winning new business workloads and managing penetration within existing ones. You will have a breadth of technical expertise, spanning infrastructure modernization, application modernization, data analytics and more. You will blend sales expertise, market knowledge and direct technical engagement to prove the value of the Google Cloud portfolio.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $127,000-$184,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Develop and own the technical account plan and strategy, participate in planning and supporting sales motions.
- Combine sales, programming, and solutions architecture expertise to prove the value of Google Cloud Platform across the portfolio through complex demos, pilots and in-depth workshops.
- Architect cross-pillar solutions, drive technical wins, and define initial delivery plans for customers; continue to lead the technical engagement in the solution phase.
- Facilitate the post-sales transition by supporting pricing activities and transitioning the final delivery plan to implementation teams.
- Maintain awareness of progress against the delivery plan, providing support to cross-functional teams during ramp, delivery, migration or implementation phases.
