The Content sub-practice, inside the Marketing practice of Song, is where we partner with clients to help them capture, create, produce, and localize content as efficiently and effectively as possible. We partner with clients across industries, and we are able to bring capabilities that span consulting and transformations services (op model and technology road mapping and stand up), to film/video/photo capture/post-production, and scaled globally delivered, tech powered, managed services around content capture, creation and production.
About the Role:
- We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Content Automation and Gen AI - Engagement Lead | Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences to join our Content practice. This leader will play a key role in shaping how clients leverage AI to modernize content operations, improve workflows, and adopt next-generation marketing and content technologies.
- The ideal candidate brings Pharma/Life Sciences industry expertise, along with a blend of in-house agency OR content studio experience, Generative AI fluency, consulting experience, client delivery leadership, and a strong understanding of content operations at scale.
- This is not an AI engineering role. It is a client-facing role for someone who can translate AI capabilities into business-ready solutions and confidently guide teams and senior stakeholders within complex, regulated client environments.
As a Manager, you will serve as a strategic advisor-leading components of solution development and playing a hands-on role in delivering tailored, high-impact client solutions for Pharma/Life Sciences clients.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement, Delivery & Growth
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary engagement lead for Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences clients, translating GenAI concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Lead and support delivery of content automation and GenAI initiatives-including pilots, POCs, and scaled implementations-within Pharma/Life Sciences marketing, medical, and content operations.
- Partner closely with near-shore and offshore teams to enable delivery, optimize ways of working, and drive transformation outcomes for regulated content environments.
- Identify opportunities to expand GenAI-enabled content and marketing solutions within existing and new Pharma/Life Sciences client accounts.
- Support business development efforts related to Pharma/Life Sciences engagements, including RFP responses, proposal development, solutioning, and case studies.
- Contribute to thought leadership, client workshops, and strategic planning discussions focused on content transformation in Pharma and Life Sciences.
Team Leadership & Ways of Working
- Lead cross-functional teams across strategy, content, technology, and scaled delivery operations supporting Pharma/Life Sciences clients.
- Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning.
- Apply a working knowledge of Agile and iterative delivery methodologies to structure work and drive results across complex, multi-stakeholder client engagements.
- Assess end-to-end content ecosystems for Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences clients, including creation workflows, governance, CMS/DAM platforms, metadata, taxonomies, and operations at scale.
- Partner with content strategy, technology, and operations teams to reimagine content processes using GenAI and automation while accounting for regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Support development of content modernization roadmaps for Pharma/Life Sciences clients, in partnership with broader Accenture capability teams.
- Help design scalable content workflows and operating models enabled by platform and generative AI for regulated content organizations.
- Maintain a strong conceptual understanding of GenAI and automation capabilities across the content technology ecosystem as applied to Pharma/Life Sciences use cases.
- Evaluate and differentiate major platforms and tools (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Writer, Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Workfront, Adobe Experience Manager) based on suitability for regulated industries.
- Rapidly assess emerging AI tools and recommend solutions aligned to Pharma/Life Sciences client needs, including data, compliance, and governance considerations.
- Translate AI and GenAI concepts into client-friendly language, educating Pharma and Life Sciences stakeholders on what's possible, practical, and responsible.
- Stay ahead of trends in AI, content technologies, and next-generation marketing within the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences landscape.
Qualification
Qualifications
- 7+ years of client engagement and delivery experience in an in-house agency or content studio model supporting Pharmaceutical or Life Sciences clients, including:
- Hands-on experience evaluating and applying content automation or AI tools in real-world, regulated business contexts.
- Experience delivering GenAI pilots or POCs (not necessarily as a technical builder).
- Strong understanding of AI and GenAI fundamentals (LLMs, prompt engineering basics, limitations, safety, responsible AI).
- Experience with content transformation, content supply chains, and content operations within Pharma/Life Sciences.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders across marketing, medical, legal, and technology teams.

Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Experience with enterprise content platforms (CMS, DAM, PIM, content automation tools) used in Pharma/Life Sciences environments.
- Exposure to structured content, content modeling, or metadata design.
- Strong written and verbal communicator with proven relationship-building skills
