Description
Job DescriptionAccenture Song Life-A Partner for Growth
The Agency of Record model we all grew up with was built for stability-long planning cycles, rigid campaigns, and success measured in outputs. Today demands something more. With evolving pipelines, diverse patient populations, and accelerated launches, the challenge is not just communication-it's staying continually relevant.
At Accenture Song Life, we reinvented the AOR to be a true growth engine for biopharma-anchored in one objective: helping you fuel growth by building continual relevance.
We do this by being Smarter, Faster, Better
Smarter-intelligence-led, powered by AI, data, and life sciences expertise, so your brand is always one step ahead.
Faster-an agile, adaptive model that scales global blockbusters and targets rare disease communities with equal precision, moving at the speed of science and patient need.
Better-world-class creativity combined with Accenture's technology and consulting rigor, shifting from campaigns to outcomes-like launch uptake, adherence, and market share.
The reinvented AOR is not a supplier-it's a growth partner. Accenture SongLife brings creativity, technology, and strategy together to serve as your growth engine-continually relevant, always accountable, and built to deliver impact for patients, providers, and your business."
You Are:
You are a seasoned brand strategy director with pharmaceutical experience who can quickly step into a complex HCP business and lead from day one. You combine strategic rigor with practical execution, translating business challenges into clear brand direction that inspires clients and creative teams alike.
Reporting to the SVP, Strategy Director, you'll partner across Strategy, Client Solutions, Medical, Creative, and Engagement to shape omnichannel HCP marketing across personal and non-personal promotion. You'll serve as a trusted strategic advisor, helping clients solve business problems while ensuring every deliverable is grounded in a clear strategic vision.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Manage the day-to-day strategic workload across HCP workstreams (NPP and PP), ensuring briefs - including client project briefs - and deliverables are clear, cohesive, and strategically sound
- Translate high-level brand strategy into actionable guidance for creative development, maintaining alignment from strategy through execution
- Frame thinking in its proper context
- Isolate the real business problems a brand and communications can affect
- Isolate the roles of the brand, communication and communication channels within business plans - thinking for tomorrow and not just today
- Have a deep understanding of the client business and what makes it tick
- Serve as a strong, confident strategic voice with clients - able to present, defend, and evolve strategic recommendations in real time
- Lead development of key strategic outputs, including audience insights and messaging frameworks
- Proactively propose strategies to help clients achieve their goals by studying a client's challenges, thoroughly understanding the category and customers, and proposing business-changing strategies and multichannel solutions
- Collaborate with the full team to ensure that creative, engagement, and content solutions are on strategy and properly integrated within the larger marketing program
- Be a catalyst for better ideas; bring people and disciplines together to create the best, most effective work for the brand and audiences
You'll help shape HCP strategy for one of the industry's most dynamic brands while working alongside leaders in strategy, creativity, technology, and AI. This role offers the opportunity to influence both client business decisions and the future of healthcare marketing.
Qualification
Here's what you'll need:
- 8+ years of brand strategy or relatable experience in an agency setting
- 5+ years:
- in a strong creative agency, including working on non-pharma categories (e.g., CPG)
- HCP experience
- Strong client-facing presentation and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
