Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 15 years of experience in engineering leadership.
• 5 years of experience in the integration of LLMs.
• 3 years of experience architecting and deploying GenAI-driven features within global consumer-facing products.
• Experience leading globally-dispersed engineering teams of 300 .

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Engineering.
• Understanding of the commercial storage market and competitive landscape.
• Ability to influence and partner across organizational boundaries.
• Expertise in deploying Agentic AI workflows and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures at petabyte scale, ensuring high-availability infrastructure while maintaining rigorous data privacy and compliance standards in an AI-first environment.
• Demonstrated success partnering with AI Research teams to translate sophisticated, cutting-edge findings into scalable, deployable, and impactful AI-enabled product features for a very large platform.

As the VP of Engineering for Workspace Drive, you will lead an organization responsible for a product that serves over 2 billion users globally. You will oversee a high-performing team that is currently excelling; your primary focus will be to accelerate innovation this includes the successful rollout of transformative AI initiatives. Beyond technical innovation, you will drive our commercial strategy to position Drive as a premier pure-play storage competitor in the enterprise market.

You will bring a "user-first" mindset to an enterprise-scale product. While the enterprise foundations of regionalization and storage are critical, this role will navigate a rapidly changing landscape of new AI modalities.

The US base salary for this full-time position is $550,000 bonus equity benefits. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a global engineering organization, fostering a culture of innovation among senior leadership.
• Define and execute the technical roadmap for Drive's AI transformation.
• Partner with product and sales to accelerate Drive's commercial subscription growth, building a competitive pure-play storage offering for the enterprise market.
• Maintain the high performance of a 2-billion-user platform while evolving its architecture to support new AI modalities and cloud-to-desktop integration.
• Cultivate a high-performing team and foster enhanced collaborative relationships with GDM teams to demonstrably improve the velocity and overall quality of product delivery.
