Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
Preferred qualifications:
- 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Understanding of the areas of opportunity and metrics/issues in utilization and efficiency of the infrastructure.
- Excellent program management skills, with the ability to successfully drive and land cross-functional programs, in the area of compute, storage, and ML hardware/software resource efficiency programs for the data center.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Excellent problem-solving, and organizational skills.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Lead large programs focused on efficiency and metrics that deliver measurable impact, ensuring the efficient use of resources across the Google fleet to meet 2030 sustainability goals.
- Develop processes and tools, in partnership with Engineering and Data Science teams, to measure top-level metrics for the portfolio of efficiency and sustainability initiatives in AI2.
- Partner with Finance and key stakeholders to build auditable mechanisms that track and report company-level impact, scaling existing processes.
