As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
Chrome Desktop's mission is to build the best browser on desktop platforms to help users fulfill their needs on the web by leveraging Chrome's and Google's technologies.
As the Technical Program Manager, you will be the strategic partner within the Chrome Desktop organization which is focused on achieving some of Chrome's multi-year business goals. You will provide program management partnership to the Chrome development teams. You will also lead, organize, and manage projects and programs in collaboration with engineering, product, and user experience leads that drive business outcomes while proactively developing systems to drive future optimizations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and UX designers/researchers in executing projects and programs from concept to launch, including planning, tracking progress, identifying and resolving issues, and managing dependencies.
- Design and roll-out processes and tools to increase the velocity of engineering teams and the quality of product launches.
- Provide program management leadership for the portfolio of Chrome browser priorities and establish partnerships with Chrome engineering, product, and UX leads.
- Deliver transparency to keep core team members aligned and stakeholders informed.
- Leverage an understanding of the software development lifecycle to identify and build new operational improvements and processes.
