- Experience with commercial and agreement management.
- Knowledge of networking, optical technologies, and outside plant or layer one network design.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will manage all Google cable landing stations power feed equipment (PFE) systems and power operations. You will be the PFE expert, ensuring a quality acceptance procedure from build to operations. You will work with key suppliers, consortia partners, telcos, customers, internal central operations teams, network teams, finance, and regulatory to ensure network availability and reliability, optimum infrastructure performance, customer experience, and PFE facility operational excellence.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage regional PFE power systems throughout their life-cycle, ensuring technical acceptance, operational excellence, and maximum reliability through the development and implementation of standards, procedures, maintenance strategies, and performance monitoring.
- Oversee the performance of PFE/subsea systems and subcontractors, leading service restoration efforts in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Partner with location teams on utility engagement and energy strategies, developing energy plans, supporting discussions, designing alternative solutions, and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Provide on-site PFE knowledge during critical situations, support regional teams with troubleshooting, and ensure security compliance.
- Forecast regional power needs, manage on-site programs on demand (POD) installations, discuss and manage third-party support agreements, optimize processes, and conduct risk analyses.
