Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 2 years of experience in program management.
  
• Experience in both vendor management and risk management.
• Experience in both of the following: software test engineering experience driving test engineering requirements, and integrating AI/ML technologies to manage improvements across programs.

Preferred qualifications:

• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience in any one of the following: test automation, test coverage, or test planning.
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and other data storage solutions.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. The Google Home team is looking to add a Technical Program Manager who is a proficient user of AI technologies and seeks opportunities to use AI/ML technologies to independently manage improvements across programs. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between the Test Engineering teams, Engineering, PM's, UX, and Support teams.

As a TPM you will be providing test program management during analysis, design, development, implementation, and post implementation launch phases. You will lead and drive cross-functional, cross-vertical test process to enable standardization, optimization, and/or transformation.
The Google Home team focuses on hardware, software and services offerings for the home, ranging from thermostats to smart displays. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Coordinate end to end test development activities and dependencies across internal and external teams.
• Maintain and co-author technical documentation used for product test plans and test processes.
• Automate test status reporting with clear test signals. Create and maintain automated dashboards.
• Run test programs at scale, manage multiple complex and ambiguous test programs, and highlight risks with clear mitigation plans.
