About the job
A problem isn't truly solved until it's solved for all. That's why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager for Cloud Computing Resource Management, you will be central to the advancement of Google's mission. On a daily basis you will be responsible for coordinating across all of Google's Engineering teams to solve some of the most challenging and novel problems in cloud computing. You will work with Google's supply chain, data center infrastructure, networking, and software engineering teams to design and deliver the future state of computing resource management within Google. Your charter will include the automation of compute resource allocation to all software engineering initiatives at Google, the balancing of resource distribution against supply chain, data center infrastructure, network, shared service, and budgetary constraints, and the implementation of tools and policies to optimize resource management across the entire engineering stack at Google. Beyond solid program delivery and technical skills, you have experience in software product development, quantitative analytics, or supply chain management. You have an ability to synthesize strategic solutions to interdependent and broad problems. You thrive in a very fluid and demanding environment.
