• 8 years of experience in program management.
  
• 5 years of experience in leadership role with/without direct reports.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• 8 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
  
• 5 years of experience in management of network engineers, or in technical program management delivery teams in a telecom or data center infrastructure space/environment.
• Experience working in organizational settings (e.g., shared accountability, geographic dispersion, ambiguity, etc.).
• Familiarity with data center, networking, or telecom operations.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Manage a team of project managers and engineers responsible for cross-functional coordination, design, and oversight of data center network and capacity growth projects in a given region to meet on-time delivery and cycle-time goals.
• Hire, coach and develop a team of Network Engineers to meet objectives.
• Work with direct reports and partner teams to set and implement short and long-term infrastructure delivery strategies for the region.
• Own and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams. Deliver effective execution at scale within large, multi-project programs while defining and developing cross-team roles, expectations, and responsibilities.
• Drive process development and iterative optimization; manage career development and aid in the personal growth of a team of dynamic, driven network engineers.
