Job Details:Job Description:
Intel is in the midst of a transformational journey that requires significant improvements in supply chain performance in critical areas such as on-time delivery to customers, output volume, cycle times, yields, and costs. This is a new role that will work closely with Foundry Customer and Strategic Planning (FCSP) staff, Sales and Operations Planning (SnOP), Sales and Operations Execution (SnOE), and manufacturing leaders to drive performance improvements. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Designs metrics and reports that aid in identifying and understanding performance issues. Works across the business to implement these designs and gain acceptance
• Monitors performance. Analyzes and integrates data from multiple sources to understand results at a deeper level
• Conducts root cause analyses to identify the underlying sources of poor performance
• Works cross-functionally to develop action plans that address identified issues
The ideal candidate will exhibit the following behavioral traits:
• Curiosity. A strong drive to understand the "why" behind business results, including building a broad understanding of how the business operates and how interconnected parts influence the overall system
• Self-Starter. The ability to know what needs to be done and initiate action without specific direction from management. Coupled with curiosity, this means identifying an issue and taking the initiative to "pull the thread" to its logical conclusion
• Business Acumen. Ability to develop meaningful KPIs and link operational metrics to financial impact
• Problem Solving. Able to work through problems and resolve issues, both in their day-to-day activities and in support of the larger business. Able to go beyond what happened to why and how to fix it
• Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate findings and new concepts and build understanding across the organization
• Excellent teamwork skills and ability to work with cross-functional, global teams
• Self-learner with ability to identify and prioritize needed work with limited direction
The ideal candidate will also possess the following technical skills and experiences:
• Data Analysis. Ability to work with disparate data sets in both raw form and formal metrics and reports. Ability to merge and manipulate diverse data sources, identify data quality issues, and extract meaningful insights
• Familiarity with key systems including SAP S/4 and Blue Yonder
• Experience working with one or more data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Exensio / Spotfire, Tableau)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
