Description

In this role, you will lead an engineering team in architecture to the next generation of video editing on YouTube Shorts. Centered on an AI-first editing flow, you will solve the unique tests of building for millions of creators, moving the platform from traditional manual tools to an agentic orchestrator. You will scale the architecture to build core editing tools that deliver an exceptional, complete editing experience. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership on high-impact Generative AI (GenAI) projects.- Influence and coach iOS engineers across multiple teams focused on video editing and recording.
- Facilitate alignment and clarity across partner teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
