About the job
The Public Sector Industry & Vertical Solutions Marketing team is looking for a Senior Manager, Public Sector Solutions Product Marketing to lead solution product marketing strategy and execution across SAS's Public Sector portfolio. This is a strategic, hands-on leadership role that connects industry strategy, product management, sales, campaigns, and regional marketing to ensure solutions are clearly positioned, market-ready, and consistently activated worldwide.
This role offers the opportunity to shape how SAS Public Sector solutions are brought to market, influence portfolio priorities, and directly impact sales confidence, pipeline performance, and revenue outcomes-while leading and developing a high-performing global team.
As a Senior Manager, Public Sector Solutions Product Manager, you will:
- Lead solution product marketing strategy and annual plans aligned to Public Sector business objectives and portfolio priorities.
- Own and evolve solution positioning, value propositions, and messaging across the buyer journey.
- Drive launch and demonstration readiness in partnership with Product Management, Sales, Campaigns, and Regional Marketing.
- Develop solution sales enablement and customer-journey assets that support demos, buyer education, and consideration-stage sales conversations.
- Use dashboards and adoption signals to prioritize GTM investments and improve solution activation and effectiveness.
- Advise Industry & Vertical Solutions leadership on market trends, portfolio alignment, and emerging Public Sector opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of solution product marketers while contributing hands-on as a working manager.

Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, sales, or consulting within the technology industry.
- 5 years of people management experience, preferably leading product or solution marketing teams.
- Demonstrated experience supporting complex solution portfolios and go-to-market execution in a matrixed organization.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.

- Deep understanding of Public Sector markets and buyer dynamics.
- Experience translating complex products into clear, compelling value narratives.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to balance strategy and execution.
