Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  
• 8 years of experience programming in C , Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
  
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Bluetooth protocols and stack (e.g., BLE, BT Classic).
• Experience with network emulation and wireless analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Bumble, iperf3, NetEm).
• Experience with data analysis and proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with Android platform development and Android system internals.
• Strong background in WiFi protocols and the Linux network transmission stack.
• Background in statistical modeling and numerical methods.

The XR's Perception Diagnostics team builds essential tools used to create this future. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Work with lab facilities to obtain network transmission data for BT Classic, BLE, and Wi-Fi Direct, under a wide range of conditions.
• Create tools to visualize and analyze network performance, and identify ways to improve latency and throughput.
• Create software to simulate network conditions outside of lab setups, to scale regression testing beyond the bottleneck of using and controlling actual hardware.
• Establish rigorous validation tests as a feedback loop, to continually improve performance metrics.
