Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C , Java, or Go), or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Natural Language Processing (NLP), deep learning, user modeling, reinforcement learning, or specialization in another Machine Learning (ML) field.
- 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, large-scale data processing, debugging).
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms, and software design optimization.
- Experience with applied machine learning techniques (e.g., DNNs, transformers) and analyzing large-scale user interaction signals.
- Experience in performing statistical data analysis and deriving insights from complex datasets or user logs.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.

As a Software Engineer or Research Scientist, you will lead a long-term initiative focused on holistic user behavior modeling. In this role, you will pioneer methods to jointly model language alongside multimodal signals including visual, audio, text, and user actions. Your research will be directly applied to our core products, driving measurable quality improvements.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
