Our core mission involves developing the customer-facing Kubernetes cluster service for Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) air-gapped and building a secure compute infrastructure for Gemini on GDC. We are also focused on creating centralized and uniform cluster lifecycle management for GDCV on both VMware and Bare Metal.

As a software engineer on the GDC Compute team, you will be responsible for constructing a complete end-to-end solution for cluster lifecycle management for Gemini on GDC connected, GDC air-gapped (managed Kubernetes service), supporting the product roadmap.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$211,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of the GDC compute virtual cluster lifecycle management and deliver cloud infrastructure services that ensure scalability, reliability, and supportability for air-gapped customers and Gemini on GDC.
• Develop the cloud management APIs as the mid-tier for cluster lifecycle.
• Possess knowledge and experiences on kubernetes and Go.
