Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in software development.
- 2 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with Kubernetes.
- Experience in languages such as Java, C , Go, Python, or full-stack development.
- Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.
Preferred qualifications:
- Certification in Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist or CKS.
- 2 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
- Experience with AI, deep learning, or natural language processing.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
About the job
In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy solutions that address the unique needs of our public sector clients. You will possess and maintain an active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph. You will be required to obtain a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform GPS work.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Develop prototypes and build front-ends and back-ends for greenfield projects.
- Collaborate with GPS Sovereign Engineering and Google Distribute Cloud Engineering to survey existing pain points, and propose solutions and improvements.
- Lead architecture and engineering designs with peers and stakeholders, and exercise technical judgment (e.g. deciding between available technologies).
- Review code and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Communicate technical concepts and analysis to both technical and non-technical audiences, including engineers and executives.
