Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience working in an electrical silicon lab.
- Experience using oscilloscopes, DMMs, and power analyzers.
- Experience with Python-based automation and scripting (e.g., data analysis, equipment control).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, with an emphasis on computer architecture.
- Experience with iPhone or Android system kernel.
- Experience with device calibration and trimming procedures.
- Experience with printed circuit board (PCB)-level mixed-signal validation/debug on IPs (e.g., temp sensor, current sensor, droop detector, ADC, or class-D amplifier).
- Experience on PLLs, ADC, current sensor, or ring Oscillators.
- Familiarity with Mac/Linux OS.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$239,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Own and drive Google CPU silicon activities in the laboratory facility in Austin, including daily lab and equipment management and upgrades.
- Perform test chip validation, silicon power measurements, and engaged performance and power analysis.
- Develop test patterns for power analysis, yield analysis, functionality testing, and speed testing.
- Develop data science based methods to profile workloads for performance and power analysis and optimization.
