About the job
As a Senior UX Design Manager, you have the opportunity to define the Android XR experience for a spectrum of XR devices, from headsets to glasses. You will lead partnerships with Product Management, Engineering, and Research and collaborate with other teams within and outside of Google to ensure that these novel experiences are consistent, familiar, and inspiring to users.

Google's XR team is at the forefront of the next major leap - the convergence of AI and XR. This is more than just new devices - it's about reimagining how we interact with the world around us. We're building a future where lightweight XR devices pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $237,000-$329,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Influence stakeholders across organizations to gain support for design strategies.
- Lead the development of innovative design solutions to user, product, and business problems.
- Establish a holistic design process, design system, or design language across teams or products.
- Own improvements in design based on UX testing and stakeholder input and provide guidance and expertise to effectively engage stakeholders on product design to achieve product goals.
- Manage project priorities, including finding and aligning resources effectively to help with the design project work.
