Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• 8 years of experience in working with ISP for peering and caching solutions.
• 5 years of experience in leadership role with or without direct reports.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience motivating teams and individuals to adapt as the business environment evolves.
• Ability to successfully implement process improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and scale across multiple teams.
• Ability to lead and inspire geographically dispersed teams, build relationships, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable initiatives and execute on them.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Plan and lead on-net and off-net delivery projects including Internet Service Provider (ISP) engagement, material planning, equipment installation, and turn up of equipment to be ready to serve traffic.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive goal for the Edge Capacity and Peering delivery team, aligning with overall Edge Capacity, Google Global Infrastructure (GGI) and company goals and objectives.
• Identify and implement solutions to optimize the project delivery to be marketed for lead-time, predictability, quality and cost. Advocate a culture of proactive risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
• Identify, mentor, and develop high-potential program managers and engineers, preparing them for future roles within the organization or with peer organizations in Google.
• Establish clear performance metrics and provide regular feedback to drive individual and team performance.
