As an Interaction Designer, you'll rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences-from concept to execution. Help drive the development of Flow, an AI-native creation platform within Google Labs. As a member of our agile team, you will play a key role in evolving the flagship ecosystem for Google's foundational generative models, including Veo, Imagen, and Nano Banana.
Labs is a group focused on incubating early-stage efforts in support of Google's mission to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Our team exists to help discover and create new ways to advance our core products through exploration and the application of new technologies. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $151,000-$222,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to lead high-quality design efforts from initial concept development through to final execution.
• Develop wireframes, high-fidelity visual designs, and rapid prototypes to effectively communicate user journeys and key decision points.
• Translate generative model capabilities (such as Veo and Imagen) into intuitive, professional-grade tools that bridge the gap between raw model output and human intent.
• Succeed in an adaptable product development environment by gathering user insights and leveraging UX research to continuously explore, pivot, and iterate on early-stage products.
• Drive work independently toward key milestones while effectively managing time, priorities, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
