About the job
As the Senior Director of Technical Program Management for Labs you will manage a team that develops, executes and leads technical operations and key initiatives across the Labs product area. You will build the operational structure to support rapid growth, unblock critical areas for product development, enable scale, and streamline information across businesses and for Labs-level leadership. Additionally, you will serve as chief of staff, keeping organizational cadence and business needs in alignment fully owning organization strategy and execution.

Our team exists to help discover and create new ways to advance our core products through exploration and the application of new technologies. Our goal is to drive innovation by developing new Google products and capabilities that deliver significant impact over longer timeframes.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $336,000-$467,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Be accountable for identifying complex challenges and defining opportunities and long-term programs to address them, simplify them into workstreams, and assign ownership.
- Establish streamlined systems to identify improvements in business processes, products or services through measurement of performance, progress, and success metrics.
- Combine strategic programs into appropriate portfolios to drive consistency, efficiency, and economies of scale.
- Measure and optimize portfolios to maximize return on effort.
