Description

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field and 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a Security Engineering-related occupation.
• Alternatively, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Security Engineering-related occupation.
• Position requires 3 years of experience in the following:
  
  • 
    Technical risk analysis in an enterprise environment
    
  • 
    Systems hardening
    
  • 
    Design of scalable security solutions
    
  • 
    Offensive security and penetration testing
    
  • 
    Code development in one or more general-purpose languages

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $223,150 - $255,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls, tools, and processes required to solve complex or difficult security problems.
• Evaluate sophisticated and interconnected systems to identify threats, contextualize risk, and communicate findings to executive stakeholders.
• Drive mitigation and remediation efforts that address systemic security issues and improve overall operational efficiency.
• Contribute to the security engineering roadmap and own the strategic vision for your designated technical problem space.
• Operate information security systems, respond to advanced threats, and serve as the ultimate escalation point for junior engineers. Provide technical leadership and mentorship for a small group of engineers and participate in hiring activities.
