Description

- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience working in networking, cloud, or data center environments.
- Experience managing NPI programs for Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) hardware.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in multiple aspects of hardware and manufacturing operations.
- Experience working as an Engineer, including in manufacturing and test engineering.
- Knowledge of hardware Bill of Materials (BOMs), process documentation, assembly and test processes.

As the New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations Program Manager, you will be instrumental in bringing innovative products to market efficiently and effectively. You will be the primary link between Product Operations/Supply Chain and hardware development, advocating operational excellence and guiding new products through the entire lifecycle, including production ramp within Contract Manufacturer/Original Design Manufacturer/Joint Development Manufacturer (CM/ODM/JDM) environments. Leading a team, you will ensure all products are built to Google's stringent quality and manufacturing requirements. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.Behind everything our users see online is the architecture built by the Technical Infrastructure team to keep it running. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional program teams within Google with external partners to prepare for production ramp or product transitions.
- Plan and execute operations development activities and ensure transition to production within cost, quality and capacity parameters. Ensure successful production transitions meeting program goals.
- Manage ramp readiness with internal teams as well as external partners (e.g., material availability, cost/assembly/test/capacity readiness and transition plans).
- Motivate cross-functional teams to optimize the supply chain for specific reasons, while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand.
