Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

- 3 years of experience shipping user-facing software systems or platform-level products.

- 3 years of people management experience with direct reports, and in technical leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to drive alignment in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Own the product goal for Google XR Services and Google Mobile Services (GMS) Core on Android XR. You will define fundamental capabilities to meet the specific technical demands of form factors, standalone headsets and tethered glasses.
- Lead the creation of technical requirements and integration standards for the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) ecosystem. Partnering with OEM companies to ensure services scale across various hardware while reducing fragmentation and maintaining high reliability.
- Establish policies and frameworks for distributing Google services on XR devices. Collaborate with engineering to develop compliance programs and modular system images that enable partners to launch and update devices.
- Act as a liaison between Android XR and Core Android teams to drive continuity. You will advocate for XR-specific requirements within the GMS framework and ensure that platform updates remain compatible with the XR roadmap.
