Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.
As a Policy Enforcement Manager for Child Safety, you will be responsible for ensuring that we constantly grow our understanding of trends and risks to child safety on YouTube. This includes understanding how dangerous individuals operate on the internet to help us prevent or remove that content as fast as possible. You will help implement and enforce our policies across millions of videos and other surfaces, as well as define and implement operational plans globally, working with stakeholders in Product, Engineering, Vendor Operations, Analytics, Policy, and Legal.
In this role, you will review graphic, controversial, and offensive content including Child Sexual Abuse Material in line with YouTube's Community Guidelines. You may be required to work on-call on weekends and holidays.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
- Research and stay up to date on key trends and operating patterns creating a Child Safety threat.
- Analyze, identify, prioritize, and deliver strategies to reduce potentially harmful content.
- Implement strategies on the YouTube platform, working with cross-functional partners.
- Manage escalations with fast turnaround time to define the best plan and implement quickly.
- Provide timely updates to executives. Review graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive content including Child Sexual Abuse Material in line with YouTube's Community Guidelines.
