Networking R&D Hardware Design Intern

This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Hewlett-Packard Enterprise's Intern Program offers students practical experience in the technology industry. The objective of the program is to develop your skills and experience and provide future opportunities for full-time employment at HPE. Assignments will entail real-world applications, valuable work assignments and opportunities to experience HPE's industry leading portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• You will be working with and learning from senior members of the team. Responsibilities may include design analysis, development tools flow, hands on verification of new hardware designs, script &/or tool development, and other engineering duties.
• Help identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing support and suggesting solutions.

Education & Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a 4 year University/College pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering, or a related technical field - Finished 3rd year of school (2027 graduate)
• Experience in hardware design (analog power and/or high speed signaling is a plus)
• Experience in Lab equipment and circuit measurement
• Experience in PCB/ PCA design is a plus
• Experience in Scripting language knowledge/ability (Python, PERL, TCL or equivalent)
• Familiarity with CAD programs

USD Hourly: $35.00 - $40.25
