Description
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience as a Product Manager in the data or AI/ML domain.
- 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.
- 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
- Experience developing and scaling data management infrastructure products at a global level.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or a business related field.
- Experience in building back-end systems, with the knowledge of the infrastructure to power Generative AI (Gen AI) and agentic experiences.
- Experience supporting the Machine Learning development lifecycle, particularly regarding Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or personalization models.
- Knowledge of data management best practices where privacy and consent are paramount.
- Ability to conduct market research and participant analysis to identify emerging trends in the AI/ML environment.

The Core Data Product organization runs the data infrastructure, tools and services that power Google's product development teams, with a mission to unlock the power of data for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) era.
In this role, you will drive the future of AI-powered personalization by Google's data infrastructure. You will build user personalization infrastructure, shaping the data platforms that will power the next generation of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) applications.The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google's flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google's products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define and deliver product goals and roadmaps for personalization data platforms that empower AI/ML innovation, translating business needs into technical requirements for engineering and research teams.
- Partner with teams across Google and collaborate across a virtual team to provide results. Influence engineering and product organizations.
- Lead the strategy for Service Level Agreement/Service Level Objective (SLA/SLO) enforcement, ensuring infrastructure meets the low-latency and high-availability requirements required for real-time AI interactions.
- Manage and lead a team of Product Managers, promoting a culture of innovation and ownership while helping them grow as leaders.
