Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Economics) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in development, testing, and deployment of back-end services, APIs, or full-stack web applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in designing, implementing, and releasing full-stack applications using Typescript, Angular, and GoLang.
- Experience with policy management life-cycle.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams (design, product, tech writers, SRE partners) and strong communication skills.
About the jobAs a part of the Reliability Outcome Enablement team, you will contribute to owning the tooling and processes that underpin Google Cloud Platform (GCP's) ability to identify, track and prioritize reliability investments through the practice of formal policy management, all in pursuit of GCP achieving its desired reliability outcomes resulting in a more reliable Cloud for customers.
In this role, you will focus on designing and building tooling and processes that facilitates technological Outcome Management at scale across the Cloud organization which includes documented processes, well defined data models, a high-quality web app used across Cloud to track compliance and tooling to automatically manage risks and mitigations for violations.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$252,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design and implement full-stack experiences using Typescript, Angular, and GoLang to support TI/GCP Reliability Outcome Enablement, enabling effective tracking, prioritization, mitigation, and resolution of policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including design, product, tech writers, SRE partners to design, implement, and deliver customer-centric capabilities.
- Produce high-quality, maintainable code, contribute to improving code quality and best practices.
- Plan, prioritize, and execute full-stack development work aligned with organizational Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), strategy, and goal.
- Contribute to the design of software components and proper system design (review held at a GCPR Platform organization level), ensuring the implemented design effectively addresses customer pain points.
