Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience programming in C , Java or Go.
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role.
• Experience in architecting for resilience or managing data integrity/reliability systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  
• Ability to analyze systems, specifically Non-Abstract Large-Scale System Design (NALSD).
• Ability to do in-depth research into unfamiliar products and technical stacks to identify systemic vulnerabilities.
• Ability to drive executional impact through excellent written and verbal communication skills.

In this role, you will lead the Resilience Enablement team with a dedicated focus on Data Integrity. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $207,000-$300,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

• Lead the team responsible for Resilience Enablement and Data Integrity, ensuring the reliability and scalability of critical emergency systems.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a different team of engineers, fostering career growth and technical excellence that embodies Google's values and prioritizes psychological safety and collaborative success.
• Advocate a customer-centric roadmap that abstracts data integrity complexities and eliminates operational friction to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Partner with cross-functional Emergency Resilience teams to drive strategic alignment and maintain a supportive, unified organizational atmosphere.
• Identify areas of commonality across existing tools and methods, and work to consolidate solutions, reduce chaos, and simplify the workflows of data storage customers.
