About the job
As a part of the Googler Experience team within People Operations, we are a forward thinking Employee Relations team that relies on both our subject matter expertise and empathy to help make a better Google by being there for Googlers in the moments that matter most. We conduct thorough and timely investigations into allegations of violations of Google HR policies and review and advise on other workplace concerns to ensure fair treatment. We support the learning and development of each member of our team and provide both training and practical experience to support the cultivation of employee relations expertise.
As an Employee Relations Partner in the Investigations and Workplace Concerns Practice Area, you will use your expertise in applicable employment laws and best practices to interpret and apply Google policies to conduct investigations and address workplace concerns. Your responsibilities include conducting thorough interviews with Googlers with empathy while keeping the Googler experience in mind, identifying the policies implicated, engaging the appropriate partners, gathering the information necessary to make findings and recommendations, and ensuring the timely resolution of concerns. This will include matters that may violate Google's HR policies as well as ensuring Googlers are being treated fairly and consistently in areas such as reorganizations, promotion, performance management, pay and level by advising on appropriate actions and disciplinary processes.
Great just isn't good enough for our People Operations team (known elsewhere as "Human Resources"). We bring the world's most innovative people to Google and provide the programs that help them thrive. Whether recruiting the next Googler, refining our core programs, developing talent, or simply looking for ways to inject some more fun into the lives of our Googlers, we bring a data-driven approach that is reinventing the human resources field.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Learn more about benefits at Google.
